Tiger fish are known for being extremely aggressive fighting fish with powerful hits and runs. The best season for tiger fishing is from September – May but the Kruger Lowveld is fortunate enough to have warm weather throughout the year and therefore tiger fishing is done all year-round. River Hill Lodge supports only catch and release tiger fishing and we encourage viable, sustainable fishing methods. We strive to have a positive impact on the fish population along the Komati River, where they are abundant in their natural environment.
