A Melting Pot of a Weekend in Tonga

Only a short hop from the N4 turn South to Tonga.
Book at one (or two) absolutely wonderful resorts for 2 nights and prepare to be amazed.
Arrive on Friday, make sure it is before dark so you can appreciate the magical sunset at your lodge and enjoy an authentic traditional meal. Pack everything for the day! Enough drinks, sunscreen, water, toilet paper and picnic basket.
On Saturday take a tour to the South-East corner to visit the South Africa Mozambique Eswatini Tripoint. It is a bit of a hike from the nearest road, but worth the effort to see three countries at the same time. You cannot cross borders here.
Make your way back and stop at the hauntingly beautiful Samora Machel memorial, the wreck-site of the plane crash in which Samora Machel, the former President of Mozambique, died. There is a museum and interpretation boards. Meander back to your lodge.
Sunday morning can be spent to visit the very interesting Muwawe Cattle and Game Project where they bread TB-free animals before you carry on to back to the N4 to return home.
