Komatipoort, a tiger fishing paradise

Komatipoort has gained notoriety as tiger fishing country. The town is situated where the Komati and Crocodile Rivers converge and is where enthusiasts gather throughout the year in search of the formidable tigerfish, which is never easy to capture. Komatipoort is also home to the Lebombo Border Post to Mozambique, making it a much-loved stopover and gateway to the Kruger Lowveld.
