Museum

The Dullstroom Heritage Society is in charge of overseeing the museum, which documents and preserves the town’s extensive historical archive. In addition to historical brochures and booklets that describe the early years of the town and highlight the cultural and ethnic diversity that fostered Dullstroom in the past, there are collected artefacts and heritage items that date back to the first Settlers in 1884 and are displayed alongside them. The Heritage Centre operates entirely on private donations and is staffed by dedicated volunteers Friday through Sunday from 10:30 to 14:30. However, it is open to the public at any reasonable hour upon request and is not limited to the stated hours.
