Barberton Nature Reserve

The Barberton Nature Reserve is 27 541 hectares in size and located in a region with an extremely diverse range of animals and stunning scenery. Its significance for conservation is influenced by several elements such as its own distinctive Sea Dam.
The Noord Kaap River flows through the centre of the reserve, forming a broad valley with lower hills on the southern side and a steep escarpment on the northern side.
