Sterkspruit Nature Reserve
Located near Lydenburg, this beautiful reserve consists of grassland, forested kloofs, peaceful stream banks and majestic cliffs. It is the perfect place for fly fishing, bird watching and hiking.
The scenic reserve is home to a diverse range of animals including the aardwolf and porcupine. There are also a variety of bird species found here including the ground woodpecker and black winged plover.
For those planning to stay over, there are camping sites available within the reserve.
