Nestled on the slopes of the Sabie River Valley, deep in the Lowveld forest, Tanamera Lodge is a small exclusive lodge offering luxurious accommodation on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis amongst quiet surroundings & breath-taking scenery. Step down onto the main deck, and relax in a rim flow pool with an awe inspiring view of the cascading Sabie River and valley.
Tanamera accommodates up to 14 guests, in 7 privately situated thatched Chalets. The chalets are surrounded by unspoilt indigenous bush, with spectacular settings & views ensuring a relaxing, peaceful stay.
From here, you may explore the Lowveld Panorama, including sights such as Gods Window & The Blyde River Canyon. The Kruger National Park Phabeni Gate is a 30 minute drive.
Tanamera Lodge operates a smoke-free policy and there is no smoking in any of our buildings. We endeavour to be water-wise, recycle what we can and provide non-indigenous wood for our log fires. This is a place to escape the hustle & bustle and drink in the peace & quiet.
We offer 5 beautiful Luxury Chalets (4 River View Luxury Chalets and 1 Forest View Luxury Chalet) and 2 impressive Honeymoon Chalets. Each Chalet sleeps 2 guests in a king or twin sized bed, dressed with white linens, and swathes of 4-poster style mosquito nets. All the open plan bathrooms have large bath tubs & waterfall showers and fluffy towels.
The amenities include a small fridge, tea & coffee making facility, hair dryer, room safe, soaps & shampoo, ceiling fan & heaters. Relax on wooden loungers on your private deck (or patio) & indulge in the cool water plunge pools in the Summer. In the Winter months, enjoy the log burning fireplace. Tanamera is ideal for romantic breaks & those very special occasions.
Your hosts see to your every need, ensuring that you experience the highest levels of service, comfort and privacy. Chalets are fully serviced.
We serve our evening meals and breakfast in the tastefully decorated main lodge. If you wish, we serve you privately in your chalet or weather permitting, on your deck. Children strictly 16+.
