Nestling in a misty green valley amid the dramatic mountains of Mpumalanga, the historic town of Sabie is an ideal base from which to explore one of South Africas top tourist destinations The Panorama Route.
The Panorama route meanders through magnificent scenery strewn with waterfalls and unique geological formations, excellent hiking, birding and fishing and easy access to the wildlife of the Kruger National Park. Visit the many arts and crafts centres, museums and historical sites.
Our namesake, Jock of the Bushveld, the runt bull-terrier taken on and made legend by Sir Percy Fitzpatrick, was born in the Kruger National Park.
Jock Sabie Lodge is situated in the centre of the town, within easy walking distance of Sabies amenities.
We offer a variety of accommodation: hotel suites, self-catering apartments and log chalets all of which are serviced and fully equipped, including colour TV. Wheelchair-friendly units are available. In addition, we have youth hostel facilities and dormitories for sporting and school groups.
