Tsendze Rustic Camp

It offers a rustic atmosphere within the natural surroundings, as its name suggests. The campsites are arranged in a rough figure of eight beneath and around stands of old and stunning Leadwood, Mopane, and Apple Leaf trees, and are roughly 7 kilometers south of Mopani Rest Camp. The Tsendze River and Nshawu Creek, two notable seasonal water streams, cross this region, which is well-known for its abundance of elephant bulls and huge herds of buffalo.

Visitors should keep an eye out for “Alexander,” a large tusker with striking ivory that is now roaming the area and the major asphalt road between Tsendze and Mopani Rest Camp. Due to the huge number of trees in the camp, Tsendze provides excellent chances for birdwatching.
