Battery Creek Falls

This breathtaking waterfall is close to Kaapschehoop, a historic mining community known for its herds of wild horses. The 30-meter-tall Battery Creek Falls is within ten minutes’ walk from Kaapsehoop.

You will need to travel a few hundred meters to the waterfall, descend into the canyon, and follow the stream to the falls’ base. Although not challenging, the terrain might be tricky in the rain. Caution is advised.

A permit can be obtained from Platanna’s Gift and Decor, which is located adjacent to Salvador’s. There’s a map as well.
