Situated on the Matjulu Spruit’s bank, Berg-en-Dal offers views of gently sloping hills to the east.
The camp is surrounded by a dam and dry riverbeds on both the north and south faces. Large trees line the dry riverbeds and streams. The camp’s native vegetation has been preserved with extra care. Furthermore, Berg-en-Dal is the only camp situated in a rough alpine setting.
